| Network
Shared Clipboard |
| Create a clipboard that LAN network users can
share. You can customize the cm_clipex.4cm macros.
In each macro replace cl1.clx, cl2.clx, cl3.clx, etc. file names by full path file names
like (for example) \\shared\clipboard\cl1.clx, \\shared\clipboard\cl2.clx, etc. The
\\shared\clipboard is a directory on a computer (named "shared") that all the
user can access. |
| Delete
Temporary Files Automatically |
| Create a macro that will automatically (at
scheduled time or on a hotkey) remove unwanted temporary files. Use <filedel> command with
wildcard file name as parameter (for example,
<filedel>("c:\temp\*.tmp",0,0)). |
| Download Files Automatically
|
| Create a macro that will automatically (at scheduled time
or on a hotkey) download required files. To download the
files use <ftp_getfile> command. |

Backup Important Files |
| Use file commands
to create a macro that will automatically backup your
important files (by copying them to the given location -
network hard drive, etc.). If you have WinZip
installed, you can even zip the files before copying them
using <run_ctxcommand>. |

Manager (Perfect Keyboard) |
You can create a
"password manager" that will automatically
insert (different) login name and password when accessing
protected web sites. Create a new folder (named
"Password Manager", for example) in the Perfect
Keyboard. If you wish to have the password manager
password protected you can define the password in the
folder properties dialog box. For each login name
and password, create new item with the same text shortcut
".l" (for example) and macro consisting of this:
LOGIN_NAME<tab>PASSWORD<enter>
where LOGIN_NAME is your login name on a particular web
site and PASSWORD is the associated password.
Every time you write .l shortcut instead of login name in
a login form a list of all your passwords will be
displayed and you can just select the one you want to
apply. |

Macros → Follow these instructions to add any of the
macros below to your program:
1. Download a file listed below.
2. Unzip the file.
3. In the main window, use "File/Insert
File" menu item to add the file.
If you have Macro ToolsWorks installed, you can insert any macro
file listed here.

A few simple Windows enhancements... |
(i) To minimize window just do right mouse
button click (anywhere in the window) together with holding Ctrl key down. (ii) To
open Start Menu just move mouse cursor to the left screen edge. (iii) To start screen
saver move mouse cursor to the upper-right screen corner. (iv) To swap active windows
shake mouse horizontally.

| Format
Text |
This
macros allow you to format text in any
Windows application (Notepad, E-mail client, web forms, etc.). Just make text
selection and do left mouse button click together with holding Alt+Ctrl keys. From
the dialog shown select formatting function of your choice (justify, align, indent,
upper/lower case, etc.).

Clip Gallery |
Macros allow you
to save clipboard data to the disk and later put them back
to the clipboard. This way you can create a gallery of
your mostly used clip arts, bitmaps, text templates,
spreadsheet templates, etc. and paste it to a document
quickly.

Auto Corrector |
The macros watch your typing and
if you mistype some of the common English word it automatically corrects it - in any
Windows application! For example, if you type "abotu" auto corrector will
automatically change it to "about". The auto-corrector contains 850+
commonly used English words and can be easily extended by adding new words.

File Listing |
Drag file(s) in
your file manager and drop them on "File List" button.
Notepad will be started and the list of files together with
date & size information will be inserted in.

Search |
This
macro allows you to search on the web
using popular search engines like AltaVista, Yahoo, etc.
without necessity to start a web browser and navigate to
desired search engine web page.
